Summer season started and every year the temperature is touching high, as due to climate change ice sheets and glaciers on our planet are melting making the earth become hotter every year. So, you need to be very careful to minimize the impact of heat on your body as well as in your daily life.

During summer also avoid fried, junk and processed foods as they have high oil contents and affect the digestion system. Apart from that any out street food sold in an unhealthy or unhygienic environment should be avoided during summer as they can make you ill.

Just like food items, there are certain drinks not meant for consumption in the summer. In summer you should avoid alcohol, caffeinated beverages, sugary drinks, carbonated drinks, and energy drinks, as they can cause dehydration problems or make you feel hotter after consuming.

Also avoid tea, milk, milkshakes, coffee, canned juice carbonated soft drinks or drinks with large amounts of sugar, as they are diuretics in nature and can cause dehydration. Though you should also avoid consuming alcohol during the summer, you can take beer in limited quantities.

After your food and drinks use of fabrics plays an important role in your daily life. In summer you should avoid certain fabrics like polyester, nylon, and acrylics, as they are made from petroleum, don’t breathe well and also don’t absorb sweat very well.

While on the other hand fabrics made from nylon can trap heat inside and irritate your skin. You should also avoid using fabrics made from rayon, velvet, leather, net, fleece and traditional wool. All these materials are not meant for summer, they will cause more heat and itching in your body. The best fabrics are cotton and linen cotton-made clothing materials.

When it comes to choosing colors in summer you should avoid dark colors like black, blue, dark green, dark brown, purple, and red as dark colors absorb more heat than light colors. And I’m talking about choosing the colors in the fabric that you use to wear at your home or for the office.
